He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Ramey and Blanche Ramey (Turner); and his siblings, Glen, Ralph, Guy, Willian (Bill), Leslie, Mary Elizabeth Cleghorn, Pauline Rhoades, Wanda Hatfield, Ella Ruth Ramey, Beulah Linda McCormick and Loretta Downes.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Marilyn Ramey (Short); his children, Richard Ramey (Jenny), Penny (Ramey) and Wickes (Mike); his grandchildren, Lisa Menjivar and David Ramey; and his great grandchildren, Tristan, Ashton, Jameson Ramey and Gabe Menjivar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Culberson Funeral Home - Hagerstown (51 W Washington St, Hagerstown, MD 47346). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
