He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Myrtle Marie Meyer (Wire); and his siblings, James Meyer, Robert Meyer, Gene Meyer, Fred Meyer, Mildred Clevenger and Larry Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Nondus Meyer (Conway); his children, Penny Klusman (Wayne) of Richmond, Linda Griffy (Mark) of Richmond, Julie Meyer Blaase of Hagerstown and Denny Meyer (Melody) of Eaton, OH; his sisters, Barbara Parker of Phoenix, AZ and Linda Hansen of Cedarsburg, WI; and his brothers-in-law, Delbert Sherwood of Dublin and Curtis Andrew of Centerville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or American Legion Post 333 of Hagerstown.
