She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Brumfield and Edith Brumfield (Davis); her husband William C. Waltz; her great grandchild Charles Michael Leber; her siblings, Wayne, Harold Brumfield, Thelma Proctor, Janice Wooldridge and Ruthann Brumfield; her niece Dawn Huddleston; her nephew John Waltz; her close friends, Marilynn Hensley, Betty Knipp, Eileen Kern and Doris Lilley; and also, Eleneida Waltz, Ralph Waltz Jr., Fred Waltz (Faye) and Maria Waltz.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Smith (Missy) of Hagerstown, Debbie Davis of Richmond and Mark Smith of New Palestine; her granddaughter Katie Miller (Jacob) of Muncie; her sister Patty Coffman (Richard) of Lewisville; and her sisters-in-law, Sandy Waltz of Doraville, Georgia, Kathy Davis (Mike) of Richmond and Jennifer Mendenhall (Mark) of Economy.
