He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Schuman and Rose Schuman (Rosfeld); his siblings, Lawrence, William, Harold, Richard, Viola Andres, Matilda Bischoff, Francis Andres, Loretta Bihr and Alberta Mergenthal; his grandson Dustin Schuman; and his great grandchild Carter Bond.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Dall Schuman; his wife Mary; his children, Don-Unser Schuman (Mary), Cathy Knecht (Aloys-Butch), Ron Schuman (Angie), Mike Schuman (Anita), Patrick Schuman, Steve Schuman (Donna), Jim Schuman, Julie Baker and Mark Schuman (Dawn); his brother Joe Schuman (Martha); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Schuman and Pat Schuman. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
