He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gill and Bonnie Price Gill; and his sister Mary McElyea Vinson. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Phillips Gill; his children, Brooklynn, Courtney, Tyler and Serena; and his siblings, Joyce Hillard (Ronnie) and Michael Gill (Ellen). He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
