He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna (Bihr); his parents, Ruth Gaynor (Bulach) and Bernie Gaynor; his siblings, Denny (Connie), Jake (Jackie), Mary Jane Stuerenberg and John (Katie); his children, Philip, Molly Mason (Josh), Sarah Leiker (Jared), Amanda Rosselot (Adam) and Tanya Zengerling (Jake); and his grandchildren, Caleb, Aaron, Tyler Mason, Owen, Olivia Leiker and Amelia Zengerling. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials can be made to the Masses, All Saints Parish, St. Joseph American Legion Post 464, and American Cancer Society.
