He was predeceased by: his daughter Marilou Joerger; his parents, William Joerger and Rose Kesterman Joerger; his brother Ralph Joerger; his brother-in-law Jerry Lamping; and his son-in-law Gary Hartman.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Knue; his children, Laura Hartman, Linda Todd (David), Rita Wissel (Chuck), Larry Joerger (Beth), Ruth Hendrix (Greg), Bob Joerger (Kim) and Kelly Joerger (Julie); his sister Alice Lamping; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Joerger. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
