He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his brothers, Sylvester Stenger, Joseph Stenger, Melvin Stenger, Earl Stenger, Theodore Stenger and Anthony Stenger; and his parents, Catherine Stenger and Joseph Stenger.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Gardner of Batesville, Jerry Stenger (Sandy) of St. Leon and Lynn Hertel (Ric) of Batesville; his sister Joan Oesterling of Oldenburg; his grandchildren, Sam, Kate, Bill, Carly, Kira, James, Jessica and Tripp; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Tommy, Ruby and Ophelia.
Memorials may be made to All Saints Parish, and mass intentions.
