The memory of Hazel Parrish Hurd in Guilford, Indiana, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Craven Parrish and Louise Collins Parrish; her sons, Chris and Steve Hurd; her sister Barbara Tucker; and her brother-in-law Grady Tucker.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Hackett (Barry); her granddaughters, Jessica and Lauren Watts; and her nephew Gary Tucker (Sharon).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (127 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC 27025). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mayodan Municipal Cemetery (600 S 5th Ave, Mayodan, NC 27027).
