With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eric J. Wilgenbusch (Guilford, Indiana), born in Batesville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2024 at the age of 73. As Eric departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eric may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eric leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Buschur Wilgenbusch; and his sister Mary Steinmetz. He is survived by: his siblings, Marcella McCann (Tom), Rosella Kemper, Gerald Wilgenbusch (Arlene), James Wilgenbusch (Judy) and Monica Poole (Kerry).
A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (9788 N Dearborn Rd, Guilford, IN 47022). Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery (9788 N Dearborn Rd, Guilford, IN 47022).
Memorials can be made to Masses, St. Paul's Cemetery Fund, or Christian Village Hospice and will be accepted at the visitation or can be mailed to the funeral home.
