He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; and his siblings, Ruth Hoyer, Leah Mae Johnson, Mary Hoover, Susan Hankins and George Abplanalp.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Abplanalp (Brenda) of Indianapolis, IN, Bill Abplanalp (Katrina) of Wyoming, OH and Anne Granat (Tom) of Mason, OH; his grandchildren, Brad, David, Allison, Carson, Elizabeth, Ben, Matt and Thomas; and his sister Betty Griswold (Phil).
