He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom Barnett and Lula Miller (Prater); and his siblings, Shirley Cole (Barnett), Elsie Mae Barnett and Boyd Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Sue (Shedrow) of Grovertown; his children, Tammy Wireman (Lonnie) of LaPaz, Dennis Barnett (Karen) of Grovertown and Sheri Bau (Aaron) of Walkerton; his grandchildren, Adam Wagers, Ashley Wagers, Dennis James Barnett, Daniel Barnett, Carissa Barnett, Sara Drake and Emma Drake; his stepgrandsons, Mike Wireman and Cody Wireman; his great grandchildren, Ember and Eliza; and his sister Irene Dean (Ed) of Knox.
