He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick L. Porter and Alice Rinck; his wife Patricia Dipert; and his children, Delbert Lynn Porter and Roberta Porter Kickbush. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
Memorial contributions can be given in his name to the Sons of the American Legion, at either the North Liberty or Walkerton Posts.
