It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Franklin Hoover of Griffith, Indiana, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hoover and Ruby Hoover (Scher); his wife Joann Hoover (Gretz); and his siblings, Joyce (O'Connor), Mary Ann (McCord), James Hoover, Butch Scher and Michael Scher.

He is survived by: his children, Scott (Crystal), Ryan (Amy) and Shellie (Johnny). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
