She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Barron and Delila Barron; her husband John Sr.; her daughter Annette Wood; and her siblings, Dennis Michael McFarland, Faye Wilson, Billie Barron and Don McFarland.

She is survived by: her sons, David Palinca (Edi), Mike Palinca and Tom Palinca (Laura); her grandchildren, Kyle, Andrew, Tyler, Alisha, Christa, Brad and Mollie; her great grandchildren, Alina, Drake, Layla, Olen and Maddox; and her nephew Michael McFarland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Leukemia Research Foundation 191 Waukegan Road Suite 105 Northfield, IL 60093.
