It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Sowinski (Griffith, Indiana), who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sowinski and Alma Sowinski. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Babusch); his children, Jolene Kratochvil, Jennifer Sowinski, Ted Sowinski, Tim Sowinski, Janet Holsclaw (Ron), Julie Downing (Pat), Jackie Hamlett (Denis) and Tony Sowinski (Sonora); his grandchildren, Amber Kratochvil, Brittini Kratochvil (Logan), Natalie Sowinski, Ava O'Keefe, Chandler Sowinski (Mysti), Blake Holsclaw, Barbara Holsclaw, Mylon Shamble, Patrick Downing (Jordan), Sidney Hamlett, Anderson Hamlett and Carter Sowinski; his great grandchildren, Willa Bellinda and Miles Downing; and his siblings, Penny Tomick (late Don) and John Sowinski (Angie).
