He was predeceased by: his wife Melanie; his parents, James Claude and Dorothy Jackson; and his brother Claude Jackson. He is survived by: his son Christopher; his siblings, William Jackson (Mariann "Mimi"), David Jackson (Mary Beth), Margaret "Peggy" Lowder (Stan), Mary Jenkinson (Pete) and Mildred "Millie" Jackson; and his sister-in-law Denise Furman (Lawrence). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center Leukemia Research Fund in his memory.
