With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Rose Schaller of Griffith, Indiana, who passed away on December 2, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Spitz and Mary Becker; her husband Michael Anthony Schaller; her children, Michael Schaller of Shelbyville, Thomas Schaller (Jean) of Griffith and Michelle Deardorff (Brian) of Highland; her daughter-in-law Pat Forsythe (Roger) of Valparaiso; her siblings, Joan Reider, Mary Glowinski (Don) and Jim Spitz (Vicki); her sister-in-law Delores Spitz; her grandchildren, Nicole Harding, Joe Bailey (Kelly Higgins), Amanda Mang (Sean), Adam Schaller (Michelle), Kristina Brown (Kyle) and Kessa Deardorff (Jace Berg); her great grandchild Tyler Harding; her sons, Tim and Jim Schaller; her daughter-in-law Ruth Ann Schaller; her granddaughter Megan Schaller; her brothers, Joe Spitz, Dick Spitz (Jo Ann) and Andy Reider; and also, Caydance Bailey, Claire, Nora, Logan Mang, Eilis and Brenna Schaller.
