He was predeceased by: his sister Sylvia Perez; and his parents, Luis Garnett and Carmen Garnett. He is survived by: his wife Ursula Garnett; his children, Anita Medina (Rolando, Jr.), Danielle Tharp (Eric), Erica Garnett (Mark) and Christopher Garnett; his grandchildren, Rolando III, Jordan Medina, Samuel and Carmen Tharp; his siblings, Joseph Garnett (late Linda), Norma Alamillo (Rene) and Sandy Strong (late Richard); and his parents-in-law, Barbara Seidl and Thomas Seidl (Mary Kay). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
