He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; and his parents, Clay Moore and Mary Willard Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Dianna Rush (Phillip), Phillip E. Stewart Jr. (Karen) and Linda Valdez (Adrian); and his siblings, Paul Stewart (Carolyn), Wendell Stewart (Betty), Larry Stewart (Patricia) and Charlotte Beck (John). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
