It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pauline Anna (Zimnawoda) Brehmer (Griffith, Indiana), born in Whiting, Indiana, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Janos and Mary Janos; her husbands, Bernard Zimnawoda and Carl Brehmer Sr.; her stepsons, Carl Brehmer Jr. and John Brehmer (Carolyn); and her siblings, George Janos Jr., John Janos, Mary Moredich, Irene DuVerney and Anna Mae Lewandowski.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Zimnawoda (Gloria), Richard Zimnawoda (Susan), John Zimnawoda (Theresa), Janis Rubino (Dennis), Randall Zimnawoda (Lori) and Lisa Knight (Tony); and her grandchildren, Michael Zimnawoda, Kristine Pilewski, Elissa Zimnawoda-Daugherty, Robert Zimnawoda, Sarah Bachman, Valerie Karamanis, Mary Werner, Heather McMahon, Megan Jantelezio, Arron Zimnawoda, Andrea Zimnawoda, Alexander Zimnawoda, Jessica Milburn and Justin Knight. She is also survived by her 28 great- grandchildren; and by her nieces and nephews.
