With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mitzi Sturgill (Griffith, Indiana), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on October 22, 2019 at the age of 44. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mitzi Sturgill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sonny Sturgill, Jr.; her father E. O. Galloway; her nephew Zachary Stamper; her grandparents, Marvin, Edna Smith, Bill and Cleo Galloway; and her brother-in-law Jeffrey Byrd.
She is survived by: her sons, Jessip Ward (Erika Page), Zander Sturgill and Chance Sturgill; her mother Molly Galloway; and her sister Donna Stamper Byrd (Tony). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donna Byrd, P. O. Box 5101 Kingsport, TN 37663, to help with expenses for Sonny and Mitzi's children.
