We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2021, at the age of 79, Maria Gonzalez of Griffith, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julio Cortez and Guadalupe Cortez; and her brother Valentin Cortez. She is survived by: her husband Hilario "Lalo" Gonzalez; her daughter Susie Reyes (Domingo); her grandchildren, Julio, Elvira and Maria; and her siblings, Sabino Cortez (Marcelina), Rosa Vasquez, Juan Cortez (Rosa), Josephina Castillo (Salome) and Eladio Cortez (Lucina). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
