She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond "Ray" Melcher and Elizabeth "Betty" Melcher; her nephew Mark Merrifield; her brother-in-law Mike Lax; and her close friends, Nancy Harris, Donald Harlow, Cathy Fisher and Ann Hajduch.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sharon Merrifield (Art) and Cindy Lax (late Mike); her nieces, Cheryl Merrifield, Crystal Poling (Jason), Carrie Bunkowske (Matt), Nicole Larrabee (Nate), Wiyan and Kayden Lax; her great-nephews, Blake, Reece, Levi, Luke, Chaucer, Zander and Alvin; and her close friend Bella Cogley.
