He was predeceased by: his daughter Susie; his siblings, Harold, Sharon and Margaret; and his grandson Christopher.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Carla Jerred (Bob), Mary Darnell, Andrea Darnell, Tom Darnell (Becky), Daniel Darnell (Karen) and Theodore Darnell; his stepchildren, Timothy Obermeyer (Melanie) and Ruth Maywald (Paul); and his brother Terry Darnell (Colleen). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
