He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Gary Peterson; his brother Michael Michalec; and his parents, Stefan Michalec and Maria Michalec. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Linda Emanuelson (Thomas), Daniel Michalec (Barbara), Katherine Veitch (Richard) and Susan Peterson (late Gary); his grandchildren, Richard, Brian Veitch, Danielle and Michael Michalec; and his brother Steven Michalec (late Mary). He is also survived by his nieces & nephews.
