He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Carolyn Shimek (Steve) and Bob Tzitz; his grandchildren, Chris Michaels (Angela Van Hover), Meghan Carpenter, Samantha St (Kyle) and Andrea O'Donnell; his great grandchildren, Eli Carpenter, Jenson, Emily Van Hover and Charlotte St. John; and his sister Elizabeth "Elaine" Sherman.
