He is survived by: his siblings, James Matthews (Mary Ann) of South Carolina and Patricia Matthews of North Vernon; his nephews, James Matthews (Kim) of South Carolina and Mark Matthews (Corinne) of South Carolina; and his great-nephews, Cameron and Nicholas Matthews.
