It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Wilkey of Griffith, Indiana, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Denihan and Evelyn Denihan (Cliff); her daughter Sherry Gonzalez; her grandson Noah Potosky; and her sisters, Rose Bednar, Dawn Szczepaniak and Irene "Peewee" Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Kip Wilkey (Julie), Tina Wilkey, Erin Maglish (David), Troy Wilkey and Kelli Potosky (Jerry); and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Shannon (Calvin), Kristin, Adam, Danny (Miranda), Brooke, Ryan, Jonah, Morgan, Allison, Nicole, Elizabeth, Sarah and Corrin. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may meet with the family on Thursday March 11th, from 5:00 p. m. -8:00 p. m at White Funeral Home, with concerns of covid masks are required at funeral home.
