He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Sabina Lutes; his parents, Margaret Skok (Frank) and Donald Lutes, Sr. (Lona); his grandparents, William, Ida Henson (Wilson), Luther and Myrtle Lutes (Kellogg); his siblings, Judith Kohler and Robert Lutes; and his niece Kimberly Kors Mica.
He is survived by: his children, David Lutes, Jeffrey Lutes, Lynda Lutes and Donora Gard (Robert); his grandson James Paul (Rebecca); his great grandchild Addison Paul; the mother of his children Clea Capuzzi McLeod; his sisters, Roberta Kormendy (Joseph) and Karen Kors (Michael); his siblings-in-law, William Kohler and Lynn Sabina; his cousins, Carole Lutes Christensen and Dennis Shattuck; his nieces and nephews, Mitchell Kormendy (Kimberly), Margo Wagoner (Scott Wilbur), Michele Bush (late William), Monica Kormendy (Rick Avila), Kelly Kors, Craig "Sonny" Kors, Frank Rosing (Sherri), Michael Kohler, Cort Sabina, Laura Banas (Paul), Andrew Wiking (late Margo), Kristin Clark (Michael) and Elizabeth Monahan (Patrick); and also Edward McLeod (Andrea). He is also survived by many great nieces/nephews, cousins and many many friends.
