He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia J. Haws; and his siblings, Hiwana Hicks and JT. He is survived by: his children, Mark Cummins (Marcia) of Punta Gorda, FL and Melanie Wissore (Bob); his grandchildren, Joshua Cummins, Jason Cummins, Heather Wissore Di Stafano, Heidi Wissore Grippo and Abigail Wissore Moyer; and his sister Vela Faye Ray (J. E.) of Bertrand. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
