She was predeceased by: her uncle John Kapera; and her aunt Alice Trembczynski. She is survived by: her parents, Daniel Smith and Ann Smith; her brother Danny; her grandmothers, Bernadette Sanner and Ruth Smith; her godfathers, Robert Sanner (Davan), Ray Kapera and Richard Trembczynski; her aunts, Carol Long (David) and Drea; her godmothers, Bonnie Dobosz, Dawn Hollifield (Richard) and Dana Armour (Henry); her aunt Barb; her uncle Ed Magarl; her cousins, James, Jesse, Nick, Alec, Adam, Jill, Carley and Michael; and her close friend Scott Smith.

Donations in Andrea's memory are preferred to the Special Olympics of Lake County Indiana.
