Shirley Elaine Johnson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2025, at the age of 74, Shirley Elaine Johnson (Greenwood, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester James and Opal May Rice; and her siblings, Norma Ellington (Dick), James Rice (Reba), Patricia Bay (Dale), Betty Frith (Terry) and Michael Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Angeleak Abner (Jim), Ira Bennett (Tena Abney) and Tina Smith; her grandchildren, Danielle Alsup (Jonathon), Jason Jacobs, Kelsey Smith, Christian Abner (Michelle), Cooper Dykes, Lillian Smith and Landon Smith; her great grandchildren, Colton and John Luke; and her brother Delmer Rice (Barbara). She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143).
