Sharon Lee Case Short Willis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Lee Case Short Willis of Greenwood, Indiana, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harrison and Betty Case (Clements); her former husband James Short; her sons, Calvin and Richie Short; and her siblings, Larry, Duane, Joe, Thomas "Dale" Case, Betty Jean Williams and Sondra Walp.
She is survived by: her children, Glyndon, Lonnie Short (Melissa) of North Vernon, Terry Short (Carla) of Dansville, Jeff Short (Sandy) of Celina, Jamie Short of Indianapolis, Warren Ong of Rhode Island, Victoria "Vicki" Driver (James) of North Vernon and Amy Lashbrook (Scott) of Franklin; her husband Barry Ong of Greenwood; and her brother Donald Case of Deputy. She is also survived by several grandchildren and bonus grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and bonus great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Carmel Cemetery (15510 W Blake Rd, Deputy, IN 47230).
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Sharon to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
