He is survived by: his wife Velma Ruth Cole; his children, John David Cole of Greenwood, Mark Anthony Cole (Carla) of Needham, Robert Lane Cheek (Karon) of Franklin, Timothy Lee Cheek of Franklin, Michael Todd Cheek (Crystal) of Franklin, Theresa Jane Osborne (Paul) of Berea, KY and Mary Denning (Joe) of Greenwood; and his siblings, William D. Cole (Vicki) of Indianapolis, Stephen, Violet R. Bohart, Geneva M. Hardin, Mary E. Salmon and John. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and close friends.
