He was predeceased by: his sister Becky Lynch. He is survived by: his brothers, Ralph Poteet (Joan) and Gary Poteet (Alice). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center (1605 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143).
