We bid farewell to Mary E. Lasiter of Greenwood, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 9, 2024 at the age of 90. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Wheeler and Nora Wheeler (Miles); her husband Donald Ray Lasiter; and her siblings, William Wheeler, John Wheeler, Jim Wheeler, Homer Lee Wheeler, Nelson Wheeler, Olive June Wanamaker, Dorothy Franchville and Nancy Huebschman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Besser, Glenda Johnston and Diane Anderson (Bill); her grandchildren, Laura Daniels (Howie), Lisa Brown, Stacy Riddle (Kyle) and Patrick Anderson (Jennifer); and her sisters, Irene Krieg and Priscilla Miles. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association, American Cancer Society or donor's choice.
