We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024, at the age of 91, Don Richard Garner (Greenwood, Indiana), born in Glasgow, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Garner and Ivy Mae Peabody (Sloan); and his wife Joan May Garner (McKee). He is survived by: his sons, Ron Garner (Joy) and Rick Garner (Kim); and his grandchildren, Meredith Hamilton (Greg), Jeremy Willey (Lindsey), Jonathan Willey (Ali), Michael Garner (Erin) and Dylan Garner (Madison). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church (381 N Bluff Rd, Greenwood, IN 46142). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Christian Church (381 N Bluff Rd, Greenwood, IN 46142).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Don's memory, which will honor his legacy and the love he shared with those around him.
