He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Marendt and Wilma J. Marendt (Schaekel). He is survived by: his wife Deb Marendt (Sheets); his daughters, Audi Shivers (Matt) and Ali McElwain (Ryan); and his siblings, Tom Marendt and Pat Miller.
