With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Connie Surface of Greenwood, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Connie left this world on February 13, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Augustus Strouse and Kathryn Mae Strouse (Bailey); her husband Jeffrey L. "Jeff" Surface; and her sisters, Jacqueline Tielking Strakis and Patricia Wooten.
She is survived by: her children, Jody L. Schoettle (Chris) of Greenwood, IN and Robby D. Surface of Greenwood, IN; her grandchildren, Benjamin Surface, Daisy Surface, Molly Surface, Enza Schoettle Griffin (Luke), Emily Schoettle Bradley (Greg), Cammie Schoettle Owen (Ayrton) and Logan Schoettle; her great grandchildren, Brayden Lowe, Dean Griffin, Aviana Griffin, Lena Griffin, Emma Bradley and Bella Bradley; and her brother Thomas Strouse (Florence Henson) of Greenwood, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center (300 S Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Bluff Creek Cemetery (6286 W. St. Road 144, Greenwood, IN 46143).
