He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Shrout and Genevieve Shrout; his former wife Tena Shrout; and his stepdaughter Kaye Kinsey. He is survived by: his wife N. Louise Shrout; his children, Terry Shrout (Diana) and Christina Farmiga (Robert); his stepchildren, Charlene Faye Miller, Ricky Gravitt and Mary Gibson; his grandchildren, John-Paul Miller, Tyler Gravitt, Tara Gravitt, Samantha Mooring, Justin Shrout and Michael Harness; his stepgrandchildren, Samantha Wells and Andrew Craig; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Kelley, Bently and Augustine; his sisters, Pat Webb, Mary Thomas and Anne Tomlinson; and his pet Missy.
