She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Oakes and Gertrude Oakes; her husband Richard L. Mitchell; her granddaughter Sarah Mitchell; and her siblings, William, Richard Oakes and Shirley Rita.
She is survived by: her children, Terrylee Turnipseed (Stan) of Greenwood and Timothy Mitchell (Amy) of Anderson; and her grandsons, Scott Turnipseed, Samuel Mitchell and Alexander Mitchell.
