Dowling of Greenville, Indiana, born in Booneville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Evans and Mollie Grace Evans (Cole); her former husband Don Carlin Pennington; and her spouse Jesse C. Dowling. She is survived by: her children, Ted Pennington (Susan) of New Salisbury, David Pennington (Rita) of Corydon, Gary Pennington (Christina) of Greenville, Brian Pennington (Amanda) of Scottsburg, Cheryl Shadburn (Dale) of Scottsburg and Saundra Pennington (David White) of Austin. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
