He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Alger and Ruth Alger (McBee); and his stepfather Marvin Tyree. He is survived by: his fiancé Jodie Cornett (Collen); his partner's son Aaron Cornett; and his siblings, Dennis Alger (Becky), Kim Alger (Michelle) and Diane Hickman (Jerry).
