He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Janet Mugg (Buckley); his wife Jamie Mugg; his children, David Mugg, Sarah Gerlitz and Emily Mugg; his stepchildren, Ashley Hayes and Jordan Hayes (David); his grandchildren, Aria Rae Gerlitz, Cru Edward Gerlitz and Kai Scott Gerlitz; his sister Tami Mugg; his mother-in-law Jane Heltzel; his sister-in-law Jody Leung (Tommy); his niece Dahlia Leung; his brother-in-law Mike Heltzel; his nephew Clay Heltzel; his grandparents, Ellen, Virgil Mugg and Waneta Smith; his father Richard L. Mugg; his father-in-law Robert Heltzel; and his son-in-law Bryce Gerlitz.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Scott's name to Christian Life Fellowship Church.
