He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse E. Bowland and Emma Myers Bowland; his wife Thelma Lucille Douglass; his granddaughter Jennifer R. McKillip; and his siblings, Violet Lowe, Dorothy Rose, Mary Fisher, Ann Roseberry (Bunch), Patsy Bennette, Carol Bowland, Woodrow, Wayne and Russell Bowland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie McKillip (Craig) of Wabash, Karen Fauber (Mike) of Greentown and Kathy Shrock (Bill) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Brent McKillip, Brooke McKillip, Chad Fauber, Angela Ford, Kyle Shrock and Kent Shrock; and his siblings, Virginia Rohrer, Alice Hudson, Betty Hodson, Waneta Levensky, Eugene and Jim Bowland. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
