It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ella Speidel of Greentown, Indiana, born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Shivley and Devota Shivley (Byrd); and her brother Dan Shivley. She is survived by: her husband Jim "Smiley" Speidel; her children, David Speidel (Lisa), Ella Walker (Jeff) and Leslie Connolly (Joe); her grandchildren, Jamie Speidel, Quinn Connolly (Taylor), Micayla Pier (Micah), Noah Connolly, Josh Speidel, Zach Connolly and Molly Connolly; her great grandchildren, Owen, Annie and Harper Pier; her brothers, Jim Shivley (Bev) and Garry Shivley (Bev); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Shivley-Glisson and Margaret Ann Harris.
