It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thelbert Reecer of Greentown, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Reecer and Callie Reecer (Dunning); and his siblings, Dona Savage, Lonnie Reecer, Everett Reecer, Avery Reecer and Buddie Reecer.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Sue Long; and his children, Karen Sheasley (Frank), Jeffrey Reecer (Judi), Lynn Whiteman and Gregory Long (Jerri). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
