He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sr. Pennington and Beverly Pennington (Hayden); his sister Kim Benjamin; and his close friend Big Dan Vallosia. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stephenson (Georgia); his children, Ashley Ruby (Collyn), Brandon Wittman (Cassie) and Zach Ruby; his grandchildren, Peyton Ruby, Emmett Ruby, Raelynn Breed, Asher Hults and Arlo Hults; his brothers, Jeff Wittman (Gina) and Greg Wittman; and his pets, Brutus and Chloe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
