It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William R. Brown of Greensburg, Indiana, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Kuhn (Hilt) and Basil Brown; his stepfather Haehl Kuhn; his brother Gene Brown; his mother-in-law Dorothea Cromer; and his brother-in-law Bud Coker.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Barry Brown (Libby) of Pendelton Indiana and Terri Evans (Darren) of Greensburg, Indiana.; his grandsons, Jacob Evans (Krista) of Columbus and Colin Evans (Breanna) of Batesville, Indiana.; his great grandchild Fintan Evans; his brother Randy Brown of Louisville; and his sister-in-law Pat Coker of Bushnell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (301 N Broadway St, Greensburg, IN 47240). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greensburg United Methodist Church, Champions of Youth, or a charity of the donor's choice in lieu of flowers.
